Breakthrough technologies encouraging the End-of-Life tire reuse

Last Thursday, 3rd of March 2022, the second monitoring meeting of the project Life Green Vulcan was held. The meeting was attended by representatives of the project on behalf of all institutions participating in its implementation, namely: Bridgestone, Stellantis, University of Trento, Rubber Conversion, Centro Ricerche Fiat and the project coordinator – Innovando Srl.
Each of these organizations was represented by team members responsible for the implementation of each of the project segments and in accordance with specific objectives, they informed the Monitor on the achievements, while presenting all the activities planned for the upcoming period.
Particular attention was paid to all those pre-start procedures in progress that will serve to make the entire virtuous circle of project operations more operational. The partners then took turns to describe their past, present and future activities preparatory to the success of the Life Green Vulcan project.

As Circular Economy concept recognizes the importance of a sustainable economic system and as it aims to minimize waste by considering the full-cycle of materials, while redesigning products and operations to encourage greater reuse and recycling, we also expect the results of our promising project to improve all business aspects caused by new technologies in environmentally-conscious terms, and we dedicate and commit to designing and producing high-quality End-of-Life recyclates to be processed and reintroduced into manufacturing streams.
